I ran a Maxity 3.5t crewcab for city drops for a while. The first thing you notice is the visibility - loads of glass, you can place the corners easy in tight streets. The cab’s narrow but it still fits 3 up front and 3 behind, which is handy when you’ve got a crew and gear.

Manoeuvring is where it earns its keep. That 4.8m turning circle feels real when you’re spinning round in yards or trying to nose into a loading bay that wasn’t made for trucks. The 2.5 DXi isn’t quick, but 130hp and the torque low down is enough for a loaded run without working it to death. The weird short 1st gear takes a day to get used to… after that it’s actually nice when you’re crawling in traffic or edging up a ramp.

Brakes are solid (all-disc with ABS/EBD) and the hill-start assist is one of those things you miss when you hop back into an older manual. Comfort wise it’s ok for a light truck, not plush, but it’s easy to live with. Only gripe: no auto option, so if you’re stuck in stop-start all day your left leg will know about it.
