Cogeneration Unit GAS GENERATING SET CG 170-16, Type Quanto D1600 is a complete system for the combined production of electrical and thermal energy. This unit generates 1,560 kW of electrical power and 1,654 kW of thermal power. It uses mine gas as fuel. The main component of the equipment is a power generation unit consisting of a gas piston internal combustion engine and an alternating current generator with an operating voltage of 400 V. The cogeneration unit is designed for parallel operation with the general power grid as a primary (continuous) source of energy supply.
